First, thank you for visiting :) In this section I will tell you a little bit more about me and my work.
In daily life I work as a scientific researcher in a social & economic research institute in the food and agriculture domains. My two main research topics are 1) human nutrition & healthy diets and 2) human rights in global food production chains.
Besides my interest in human well-being in global food systems, I have a passion for creative visual expression, in this case photography and illustration. Photography ‘forces’ me to be in the moment, to observe and absorb my surroundings to the fullest, to pay attention to every detail. And then try to capture it. I use illustration as a communication tool and to process acquired information.
